
Beryl Coble
Beryl Coble, 86, of Springfield MO passed away at his home on November 3, 2021. Beryl was born May 28, 1935 in Bakersfield, CA to Alvie & Ruby (Yenichek) Coble. The family returned to Springfield where Beryl graduated from Springfield Senior High School. For nearly 30 years Beryl worked in Sales for Harry Cooper Supply Co. He then continued his sales career with Power Equipment Sales Co where he worked for 32 years. Beginning in 1952 Beryl proudly served in the Army National Guard of Missouri for 9 years. He was also a Shriner for many years. Beryl loved all kinds of outdoor activities. In his younger years he participated in fastpitch softball, bowling , fishing and hunting. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, Lady Bears Basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved working in his yard, making sure his lawn always looked its best. No matter the sport being played, Beryl’s kids, grandkids and great-grandkids could be sure he would be in attendance to cheer them on. In 1954 Beryl married Betty Letterman, they had 3 daughters. They were later divorced. In 2000 Beryl and Leslie (Fly) were married. Beryl and “Babe” spent the next 21 years enjoying being with family and friends and cherishing each other. Family was always the most important thing to Beryl. His love was unconditional and he always had your back. He led by example in instilling in all of us the values of: keeping your word, working hard, being responsible for your actions and if you are going to do it – do it right. Beryl was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Debra Coble and one sister Margaret Coble.
Survivors include: His wife of 21 years Leslie Coble of the home.
Two daughters: Dee Brown and her husband Chris of Oswego, KS
Cyndi Buchanan and her husband Mick of St Peters, MO
One son: Cody Lisenbee of the home
Four Grandchildren: Lynzee Schulz (Jesse), Shelby Durham (Jenny Howe), Chad Durham, Adam Bilder (Jennifer)
Three Great-Grandchildren: Ashton, Jaycee and Eli Schulz
Nephews: Chad Casteel and Chris Certain (Chell)
One Brother: Jim Coble, Davenport, IA
One Sister: Betty Sue Stahl, Springfield, MO
And many other nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Greenlawn North Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
