Bettie P. Johnson, 82, Rogersville, MO, passed away July 23, 2015 after a long illness. She was born June 13, 1933 in Laclede County, MO. Bettie graduated from Garfield High School in Los Angeles, CA.
She was a beloved member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Buffalo, MO and was very strong in her faith. She spent her life taking care of her family. She loved to read, sew, and basically anything creative. She was loved by so many for her loving and giving spirit. She will be greatly missed and the world is less bright without her in it.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Thomas Lee Johnson, Sr., her son Patrick L. Hannah, her mother Elvira Marie Alexander, her father Paul Bowman, her brother James Bowman and her brother Richard Bowman.
She is survived by her son Michael L. Hannah of Rogersville, MO, her son Thomas Lee Johnson Jr. and wife Susanne of Branson, MO, her daughter Susan Fairchild and husband Paul of Rogersville, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Hannah, April Hannah, Emilie Johnson, Thomas Lee Johnson III, Heather Travis and husband Daniel Travis and great grandchildren Raiden, Kenna and Riley Travis. She is also survived by her brother William Bowman, Los Angeles, CA, sister Sharon Strait of Springfield, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North and Memorial Service will be at 3pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
