Betty Jo Farmer, Pleasant Hope, Missouri, passed away at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Cox South. She was born February 7, 1928, in Springfield, Missouri, to Ira and Mary Jane (Saunders) Gates.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles T. Farmer, Sr., daughter, Lucy Lynn Farmer, and grandchild, Ira Andrew Farmer.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Betty Charleen Glaser and her husband, Paul, Sr.; two sons, Charles T. Farmer, Jr. and Ira Andrew Farmer and his wife Brenda; two grandsons, Paul Glaser, Jr. and his wife Jeanne and Shawn Glaser and his wife Donna; great grandchildren, Lathan Glaser and Gabrielle Glaser.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Bellview Cemetery, Greene County, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
