Betty June Swearingin, age 81, of Rogersville, MO, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born June 23, 1933, in Springfield, to Earnest and Mary (Reed) Speaks. Betty June Swearingin, age 81, of Rogersville, MO, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. She was born June 23, 1933, in Springfield, to Earnest and Mary (Reed) Speaks. She was a member of the Higher Vision Worship Center. She was a retired nurse’s assistant from Mercy Hospital, after 20 years. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Eugene Swearingin Sr., her son Jackie Eugene Swearingin Jr., grandson Anthony Allen Swearingin, four brothers and one sister, and a special friend Moon. She is survived by her children; Ladonna Warner and Gary, Rick Swearingin and Patty, Brenda Sue Swearingin, Debra Lynn Swearingin, 14-grandchildren, 26-great-grandchildren, and 7-great-great grandchildren and ahost of nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Higher Vision Worship Center, Rogersville, MO. Burial will be held in Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
