Betty L. Ellison went home peacefully to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning with her husband Gary by her side holding her hand. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Aunt.
Betty was born on September 16, 1934 in the home in Springfield, MO. She was saved at an early age and is a member of Berean Baptist Church. She and Gary were married on July 1, 1953, of this union was born one daughter Sheri.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents: James and Irean Evans, three brothers: Harold, Willard, and Mickey, one sister: Alberta May Marlin.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Gary of the home, one daughter: Sheri Fitzpatrick and husband Alan, three grandchildren: Shelia Allen, Taylor and Jayla Fitzpatrick all of Knoxville, TN., two great-grandchildren: Cole and Skyler of Knoxville, TN., three nieces and four nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North Chapel.
Graveside Service will take place on December 29, 2014 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
