Betty Lee Arell 89, Springfield, Mo. passed away November 18, 2018, in her home, after a long illness. She was born on April 25, 1930, in Springfield, Mo. to Eugene and Wilma (Criger) Bonner. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and she was a retired bookkeeper for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She loved planting and caring for her flowers.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert C. Arell, and three brothers: Walter G. Bonner, Jerry Bonner, and Gene Bonner. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Arell, two sons: Robert Arell and Daniel Arell, two grandchildren: Courtney Smith and Cie Arell, one great-grandchild: Brooklyn Smith and a great-aunt Dorothy Knight.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2018, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the church before the mass, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
