Betty Lee Ortner. 81, Springfield, MO. passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Woodland Manor, after a long illness. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas, on May 30, 1942, to Donald and Sarah (Ramsey) Vaughn. Betty spent most of her life in the Springfield area.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Sarah Vaughn, one son: Donald Levi Sweaney, three brothers: Johnny B. Vaughn, Calvin Gene Vaughn, and James Harold Vaughn. She is survived by her daughter: Victoria Hills, two grandchildren: Robert Hills and Latisha Norris and her husband, Matthew, and three great-grandchildren: Allie, Donna, and Shawn, three sisters: Margaret Beckham, Mandy and David Phelps, and Ann and Marvin Brooks. She is also survived by her special friends: Myako Snyder and Richard Sproull
A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
