Betty L. Linder, 94, of Ozark, Missouri, passed from this life August 13, 2026. She was born June 15, 1932 in Galloway, Missouri, to Pritchett and Lura (Wilhite) Branam.
Betty graduated from Springfield High School (n/k/a Central High School) in Springfield. She married the love of her life, Delbert M. Linder, in 1951 and the couple were blessed with two sons, Tom and Rick. A devout Christian and devoted wife, the couple made their church home at South Haven Baptist Church. Later, when they moved to Ozark, Missouri, they joined the First Baptist Church of Ozark. Betty worked at Lily Tulip then Sweetheart Cup for 34 years.
In her spare time, Betty enjoyed boating, maintaining their beautiful yard, square dancing, Bible study, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed dressing her cement duck Isabella for the enjoyment of all their family and neighbors.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert Linder; her brothers, Lloyd, Jimmy, Tom, Leonard, and Eddie; and her sister, Eula Mae Roberts.
She is survived by her two sons, Tom and his wife, Kim; Rick and his wife Cherie; grandchildren, Joanie Linder, Christy (Brian) Joy, Jenny (Chris) Talburt, Sarah Linder, Whitney Linder, Justin Linder (Hannah Straub); and great-grandchildren, Jackson (Camdyn) Talburt, Henry Talburt, and Aiden Joy.
Betty is also survived by her brother, Pete Branam and his wife Barbara and her brother-in-law, Gene Linder and his wife Marti. And many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:15 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, in Springfield. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, with Pastor David Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice.
