Betty Lou Taylor passed away on January 27, 2023. She was born on September 2, 1932 to Leonard Stanley Williams and Grace Pierce Williams. She went to Senior High School in Springfield, graduating in 1950.
She loved any and all sports and won many awards as well as being a published poet in her high school days. Later in life, she joined a group of ballroom dancers and shared many wonderful times with them.
She married Wayne Taylor and shared three children, Janis (deceased), Ricky, and Mark. She was Grandma to 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and had many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She loved life and enjoyed it no matter what she was doing. She will be missed by all of those who knew her.
A time for public visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday February 2nd, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Her funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday February 3rd, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with a graveside committal following at Hazelwood Cemetery.
