Betty Marie Atwood, 79, of Flemington, MO, passed away on August 23, 2013, in Springfield, MO. She was born October 26, 1933, the daughter of Efton and Angela Tindle. Betty Marie Atwood, 79, of Flemington, MO, passed away on August 23, 2013, in Springfield, MO. She was born October 26, 1933, the daughter of Efton and Angela Tindle.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Howard Atwood; and an infant daughter, Wanda Marie Atwood. She is survived her son and daughter-in-law, H. Dean and Debbie Atwood, of Springfield; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and extended family.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2013, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will follow in Brighton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2013, in the funeral home.
