Betty Morton, age 85, of Strafford, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011. She was born May 19, 1926 in Greene County, MO, the daughter of William Hartley and Narcie Sue (Satterwhite) Hartley.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Ray Morton, five brothers, five sisters and one granddaughter Amanda Morton.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Jeannie and Gene Butler, Carla and Rex Raydon, and John and Debbie Morton; one brother Bill Hartley; four grandchildren: Michael Butler, Leslie and Lisa Robertson and Sarah Morton and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.
