Beulah Lee Bailey Stephenson was born on May 31, 1924 and went home to heaven on April 1, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E Stephenson in 1981. Her Father Tomas Bailey, Mother Lucy Bailey, brother Eule Bailey, sister Ruth Bennett, son-in-law Dale Burtin, daughter Kathy Wagner, son-in-law Jack Wagner, grandsons Phillip Johnson, Bill Burtin, Conner Keeling, and great-grand daughter McKenzie Graham will all be making her feel welcome.
Beulah was born in Kansas City, MO. She met Charles (she called him Steve) while living in Independence and they were married February 7, 1942. They both joined the R.L.D.S. as adults in the 1950’s. They had 5 children Ruth, Pat, Bonnie, Kathy, and Chuck.
Beulah had a full life being a stay at home mother. After the children had left home she worked in housekeeping at 2 hospitals, one in Springfield, MO and one in Independence. She spent much of her time helping raise several of the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even had the pleasure of playing with great-great grandchildren.
With each of her 5 children being married, many of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren being married the family count is 68. This doesn’t count the nephews and nieces.
Beulah’s passing came quicker than expected but with the heart and kidney problems, she and her family were blessed with what appeared her going to sleep and taken to heaven.
