Beverly Sue Hultgren 81, Sprigfield, MO. passed away Friday, October 25, 2019, in the Willard Care Center. She was born in Springfield, MO. on July 8, 1938, to Lewis E. and Bessie Lee (Overturf) Hickman. She was a member of Crossway Baptist Church for 18 years and had formerly been a member of Tatum Chapel Baptist Church. First and foremost, she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She was a retired worker with Harry Cooper Supply Company and helped her husband in the family owned grocery store and service station they owned for many years. Beverly loved life and being with her many friends from her church, work and family. Beverly and her mother were known for their many trips on Sunnyland Tours, and Church Senior Adult Group.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Kenny and Gary Hickman, a son-in-law, Bill Blair, and her in-laws: Joe and Mary Hultgren. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ronnie, her daughter: Sherry Blair, her son: Mark Hultgren and his wife, Dana, five grandchildren: Dustin Gainer and his wife, Susan, Lindsey Boker and her husband, Justin, Ally Travlos and her husband, Ben, Chase Hultgren and Blake Hultgren, a great-grandson: Orik Gainer and one soon to be born great- grand-daughter: Avacyn Boker.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Crossway Baptist Church, with burial to follow, at White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crossway Baptist Church Children's Ministry, or to the Gideon Ministry.
