Beverly “Bev” Sue (Fesperman) Norris passed from this life and entered the gates of Heaven on March 15, 2026. She was born in Springfield, Missouri, on October 12, 1946, to Darrell and Kathleen (Barton) Fesperman.
Bev was a member of the first graduating class of Glendale High School in 1964 after attending Parkview for freshman through junior years.
She met her soulmate and the love of her life, Steve, in October 1963. They were married on January 17, 1965, at Kings Way United Methodist Church in Springfield. They spent 61 years happily together.
Bev worked as the administrative assistant for the Logan Rogersville Elementary School and retired after almost 29 years of faithful service.
Bev loved her church and church family—she was a dedicated member of Harmony Baptist Church in Rogersville for 45 years.
She volunteered at Safe Haven Now in Rogersville after retirement. She really enjoyed working there and particularly loved the people she worked with. She enjoyed estate and garage sales where she could “pilfer” for treasures.
Bev never meet a flower she couldn’t grow or a sickly plant she couldn’t nurse back to health. She and Steve always had a beautiful vegetable garden, and they shared the harvest with friends and family.
She and Steve loved to travel together. For over a decade they took motorcycle trips with some of their many friends. They also traveled around the US, including Hawaii, and their most recent trip was last summer to Alaska. They even took multiple trips to Europe, with Italy being their favorite of all their destinations. She especially loved to vacation in Ft. Myers, Florida, which was a very special place for her and Steve.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Steve; her son, Tim and his wife, Toni of Rogersville; her daughter, Paige of Springfield; grandsons, Josh, Cody, and Jack; sisters, Saundra of Fair Grove, and Rita of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and of course her “baby dog”, Minnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Kathleen Fesperman and her grandson, Joseph Norris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Harmony Baptist Church in Rogersville on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Harmony Baptist Church for Safe Haven Now.
Bev was a cherished wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a wonderful sister and a devoted friend and neighbor to her “people.” She will be sorely missed but forever in our hearts.
