Junior Bill Moore, son of Bill and Ida (Carter) Moore was born on June 2, 1932, and departed for Heaven, September 10, 2026, at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Springfield, MO.
Junior Bill grew up on a farm in Mountain Grove, Mo with many brothers and sisters and built many memories with them and his many cousins who lived nearby. He loved to hunt and fish. When he was a young boy, he and his sister Freeda would go fishing while Bill and Ida were gone to town. When the parents returned home, Junior and Freeda would surprise them with a fresh caught fish dinner and a pan of cornbread. He cleaned them and Freeda cooked them! He lived most of his adult life in Springfield, Mo and was a business owner and auctioneer. He attended Heritage Freewill Baptist Church as long as his health permitted and enjoyed hearing and singing his favorite hymns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley, his son, Greg, grandson Ricki, an infant grandson, his 8-year-old brother, David Lee. Who was also his childhood friend, along with his other brothers; Don, Ellis, Delmas, Gene and sisters; Lucille, Odessa, Laura and Flora.
He is survived by his sons; Rick (Patsy) and Darrell (Blye), daughters; Saundra (Randy) and Neva, step-son: Lee (Micki), step-daughters; Debbie and Carmen, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters; Freeda and Gloria as well as many other family members, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
