Billie Brown-Barbee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at Brookhaven Nursing and Rehab. Billie was born January 4th, 1930 in Springfield to James and Beulah Brown. A 1949 graduate of Rogersville High, she would go on to become a phenomenal chef for many years. Billie married Robert “Sam” Felton on June 8th, 1952. They then had 3 children, Robert Felton, Sheila Burks, and Robi Felton. A true joy to be around, Billie was always cheerful and loved to be with family and friends. She is survived by a sister, Wilda Essary of Seymour, MO, her 3 children, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many other nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
