Billie Jean Huffman, age 75, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010. She was born June, 28, 1934, in Tuckerman, Ark. She was united in marriage to Raymond D. Huffman on August 10, 1952.
She attended Grace Assembly of God church. She was a homemaker, mother, wife, and a foster parent for 21 children over a span of 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Hazel Bakewell. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons Larry and Toni Huffman and Kevin and Mary Beth Huffman; daughter Pam Huffman; four grandchildren Scott (Laura), Krystal, Ashton, and Aaron; one Great-grandchild Rolen; brother Jim and Irene Binkley; sisters Lucy and Ray Warner and Melba McIntire; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be in Greenlawn East Funeral Home, Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in the funeral home, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Billie’s life centered around God, family, and her children. She was a generous and giving person. Her love knew no bounds and it is her love and spirit that her family will always remember.
