Billie Yvonne-Alston Minor, age 80, of Fair Grove, Missouri, died Thursday, April 3, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Billie was born February 27, 1933 in Lansing, Kansas, the daughter of William R. and Mabel (Edwards) Alston.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nancy Buyan; one grandson, Alan Stroup and a great grandson, Sydney.
Billie is survived by her husband of 62 years Joe; three daughters, Debra Lynn Moore of Chaffee, MO; Janice Jo Thomas of Scott City, MO and Sheryl Lebleu of Harrison, AR; two sons, Darrell Lee Minor of Kelso, MO and Gary N. Minor of Gordonville, MO; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many friends.
There will be a private service held at a later date.
