Billy Joe Wells, 74, of Springfield, Mo., passed away in his home on Sunday, December 27, 2009. He was born April 24, 1935 in Ash Grove, Mo. He served his country in the US Navy from 1957 until 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister. Surviving Bill is his wife, Barbara Jo; two sons, Todd and wife Pam, Steve and wife Margaret; four grandsons and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Leslie; and sister, Dorothy; and his fishing buddy Rick. Visitation will be held December 29, 2009 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 30 in Robberson Prairie Cemetery at 1 p.m. with military honors
