Bill was one incredible friend, to me, and everyone that had the opportunity to know him. Many years of bowling, and endless supply of stories, and that wonderful smile is what I'll remember about Bill. Truly a one of a kind gentleman. The bowling community will miss this legend of the sport.

My prayers of comfort to the family of my close FRIEND, Bill. He served his Country, loved his family and was a pal/teacher/coach to countless students at Southwest Missouri State (Missouri State University) who frequented the old Games Room in the Student Union (now Plaster). Even the collegiate bowling champions of the late 1950's benefited from his sideline coaching. Thank you Bill, we love you and Zelma then, and God willing we'll have the entire team together again in Heaven, knocking down those pins and winning trophies GO BEARS!!! oh, yeah...he taught me how to play snooker, too. Love to all/
