Bobbie Nell Bowman, age 81, of Nevada, MO, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015, in her home. She was born February 28, 1934, in Eggsville, MS, to Jodie and Ada (Miller) Plunkett. She was united in marriage to Thomas Bowman May 28, 1951, and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 37 years Thomas Bowman; a son Jodie Bowman; two brothers: Allen and Jesse Plunkett; and a sister Francis Kabrick.
She is survived by her son Jerry Bowman of Oak Grove, MO; six grandchildren; a brother Ivy Plunkett of Crawfordsville, AR; three sisters: Ruth Moss of Bates City, MO, DeLane Myers and husband Donald of Oak Grove, MO, and Joan Griffith of Kansas City, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
