Bobby Eugene Letterman, of Fair Grove, passed into his Lord’s presence February 18, 2013, and was reunited with his wife of 30 years, Willie Ann (Fenton) Letterman, his two sons, Gary and Russell Letterman; four brothers and sisters, Lottie, Freeman, Junior and Cleona.
Bob was born December 8, 1936, to Joe and Florence Letterman in Sparta, MO, where he completed school. He retired from MODOT where he worked as a special foreman over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Anne (Shook) Letterman; his grandchildren, Kimberly and Katie Letterman; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Gavin Letterman of the home. Bob is also survived by Haley Currie, Lindsey and Sarah Letterman; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Jaxon; and his sister, Joann Staley; and a niece, Donna Dodd.
Bob “Papa” enjoyed working on the farm, fishing and camping, restoring antique cars and spending time with his grandchildren. Papa will be truly missed and forever loved by his family and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
