Bobette Lee Shoger age 84 of Ridgedale, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at her home.
She was born on April 26, 1942 at Aurora, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Olive Reinboldt Edwards.
For many years she was a Physical Education Teacher, Home Economics Teacher, Speech and Drama Teacher, A.C. E. Monitor, Sunday School, Church and Vacation Bible School Teacher, Children’s Church Song Leader, Women’s Missionary Fellowship, Banquet Chairman, Awana Leader and Game Director, Head of routine and Volunteer Church and School Cleaning, Produced Puppet Shows, Wedding Co-Ordinator, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Branson.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Shoger of the home. A son, Brett Shoger of Ridgedale, Mo., two daughters; Desiree Johnson of Streator, Illinois and April Shoger of Branson Mo. Five grandchildren; David Johnson, Alden Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Sandra Johnson and Alina Johnson Carpenter. Six great grandchildren; Toby Johnson, Ivy Johnson, Salem Johnson, Sloane Johnson, Nadia Johnson and David Jr. Johnson. She was preceded by her parents and one brother, Brian Edwards.
Graveside services are at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Blue Eye Cemetery with Pastor Jeffrey Cooper and Robert Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
