She was born on September 19, 1942 in Dodge City, Kansas to Myron and Laura (Camp) Welch.
Bonita passed away on September 27, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. She was a retired clerk in the Taney County Assessors office.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Bohannon of the home, a daughter Gwenna McGrath (Rob) of Boise, Idaho and sons, Steve Sammons of Bucklin, Kansas and Gene Sammons (Carol) of Creston, California. Two sisters, Loretta Webster of Osborne, Kansas and Donna Mead (Ron) of Buffalo, Oklahoma. One brother, Richard Long of Dodge City, Kansas and a sister-in-law, Pat Daniels (Bert). Six grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Taney County Shrine Club.
