April 10, 2023 Bonnie went to her heavenly home at 94 years of age. She was born May 19, 1928 in Phillipsburg, MO to Henry and Flossie (Warner) Dean.
Bonnie graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, MO in 1945. She also attended Draughon Business University in Springfield. Bonnie lived in Kansas City, MO a few years before moving to Springfield where she resided for the rest of her life.
May 24, 1990 Bonnie retired from her Secretarial position in the Purchasing Department of Springfield Public Schools after 26 years of service.
Bonnie was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Springfield, and was also a member of Prairie Grove Christian Church in Dallas County, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Imogene (Dean) and Clyde Cowden, and brother and sister-in-law William (Bill) and Alberta Dean. Survivors include nephew Terry (Eva) Dean, nieces Tammy Cowden (Curt) Carter and Tina Cowden, great nieces Morgan Dean (Joel) Habermehl, Marlana Horner, and Kaitlin Horner, great nephews Wyatt Carter and Dallas Dean, and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14th at 12 noon, followed by a 1:00pm funeral service at Greenlawn North Funeral Home, 3506 N. National. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Christian Church, 1362 S. Campbell, Springfield, MO 65807 or to a charity of your choice.
