Brooks Allen Morris, 42, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on February 3, 1984, in Iola, Kansas, Brooks was the beloved son of Steve Morris and Deana Parsick.
Brooks lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and a love for the people closest to him. He had a lifelong fascination with all things mechanical, especially in the automotive world. Whether working on cars, discussing engines, or admiring craftsmanship and innovation, Brooks found joy in the machines that inspired him.
Outside of his love for automobiles, Brooks enjoyed building LEGO creations, finding both relaxation and satisfaction in bringing imaginative designs to life. He was also a devoted father whose greatest joy was spending time with his two children, Phoenix and Wynter. He loved them deeply, and they remained the center of his world.
Music and the performing arts played a special role throughout Brooks’ life. He loved theater from a young age and was known for his remarkable singing voice. His passion for music stayed with him throughout adulthood, bringing happiness not only to himself but also to those fortunate enough to hear him perform. He also cherished memories of playing in the high school band alongside his brother, Brandon, often reminiscing about those formative years and the bond they shared through music.
Brooks is survived by his brother, Brandon Morris; his uncle, Brian Brooks; his mother, Deana Parsick; his grandfather, Jerry Brooks; and his beloved children, Phoenix and Wynter. He leaves behind many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will remember his talent, humor, kindness, and unwavering love for family.
Brooks will be remembered for his warm spirit, his enthusiasm for life’s passions, his musical gifts, and the love he showed to those around him. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear.”
