No services are planned at this time for Bryal Eugene “Gene” Kenyon age 81 of Omaha, Arkansas. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
He was born on May 5, 1941 in Powersite, Missouri the son of George W. and Eva M. Ayers Kenyon. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a graduate of School of The Ozarks with the class of 1960 High School and had been employed with School of The Ozarks for 40 years as a heavy equipment operator. Gene was a member of the Lakeland Baptist Church at Omaha, Arkansas. He was a member of the Branson Masonic Lodge, the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield, Mo., and was a charter member of the Taney County Shriners. He was also a member of the Scottish Rites and was inducted in to College of The Ozarks Basketball Hall of Fame. Gene enjoyed to hunt and fish and most of all he loved his family, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gene as he was known by everyone is survived by his wife; Patricia Kenyon of the home. Four children; Belinda Dunivan of Tilton, Illinois, Rhonda Manglos of Kansas City, Missouri, Clark Campbell of Mansfield, Texas and David Kenyon of California, Missouri, one sister; Ida Mae Roberson of Taneyville, Missouri, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
