Frances Carlene Hendrickson, 71, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at CMH CF Nursing Facility after a brief illness. Carlene was born on September 12, 1950, in Humansville, Missouri to Loren and Loratia Smith. She was a graduate of Bolivar High School, class of 1968.

Carlene was united in marriage to Ron Hendrickson on August 19, 1967, at Bolivar First Assembly. To this union two children were born: Roger and Ronda. Carlene loved children, she devoted her life to being a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother to all.  Carlene was saved and baptized at a young age and was a member of Brighton Highway Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed the time she spent with the Lord, reading and studying His word. Carlene was always involved in church and loved the people in it. Carlene retired from Stephen’s Pharmacy after 17 years of service where she met many friends. Later in life, she enjoyed sitting on her porch sewing, crocheting, and waving to her neighbors passing by.

Carlene is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Ron Hendrickson; her children: son, Roger and wife, Pam Hendrickson, and daughter, Ronda and husband, Brandon LePage; grandchildren: Brooke, Chloe, Mason, Kerstyn, and Jordyn; sister, Kay Nichols and husband, Gary; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation for Carlene will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Brighton Highway Assembly of God Church in Brighton, Missouri. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation.  Interment will take place at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri following the funeral service. Services will be officiated by Reverend Brent Hurt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brighton Assembly of God, Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND, or River Oak Christian Academy in Jefferson City, MO.
