Carol Ann Bishop,71, passed away at home Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Springfield, MO. She was born on July 22, 1941 in San Jose, California to Kenneth L. and Mary Carolyn Davis. Carol was married to Edward Bishop February 15, 1963 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Carol was the mother to four children.
She was preceded in death by her parents,sisters Sue, Sherry,and brother Charlie.
Carol is survived by her husband Ed and children Rick Godfrey(Sue), Donnie Godfrey (Pam), Mike Bishop (Angie), Brenda Ball(Larry), five grandchildren Matt Bishop, Anthony Bishop, Taylor Ball (Megan Rena), Megan Marie Ball, Bobby Godfrey, Three great grandchildren Ellie, Lucas, Carter and her beloved dog “Pepper”.
She is also survived by sisters Becky, Donna, Patty, Elaine and Kenna.
Carol loved all of her family, friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank everybody at Cox Health System and Oxford Hospice for the great care durning her time of need.
Carol will be cremated under the direction of Greenlawn North Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Inurnment will be at a later date.
