Carol Annette Duncan, 80, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on December 2, 2024, at her home. Carol was born on August 15, 1944, in Corpus Christi, TX at the Padre Island Naval Air Station, to Russell and Margaret (Smith) Graham. Carol married Forrest Duncan in 1963 in Springfield, Illinois. They traveled the world together while Forrest served in the United States Army for 22 years.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Forrest Lynn Duncan.
She is survived by her children: Cynthia Duncan and Michael Duncan (Annette); grandchildren: Shane Hall, Samantha Johnson, Logan Duncan, Jordan Cannefax, and Molly McGrady; great-grandchildren, Owen and Levi Duncan, and several other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s honor to the Bolivar First Christian Church or the Polk County Humane Society.
A graveside service for Carol will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 5201 S. Southwood St. Springfield, MO 65804.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel of Bolivar.
