Carol Jean Fleeman was born to Richard and Mary Lorraine Rowan on March 14, 1950 and entered into Glory early in the morning, November 13, 2020. Carol grew up on a farm in Dadeville, MO and graduated from Dadeville High School. Carol met James while grocery shopping with her mother at MFA in Fair Play, MO. They dated for four years when Carol issued an ultimatum and they were married November 5, 1971 and moved to Bolivar, MO. James and Carol had two children, Valerie Annette and Jonathan David. Carol had a passion for theater and performed often at Stained Glass Theater in Springfield, and other venues from time to time. Carol was saved at a young age and her involvement in church and ministry was a core component of her life. While attending Lighthouse Christian Center in Stockton, MO, she led a traveling drama and music team called The LCC Navigators and helped direct a local Passion Play for the community there. As years progressed, Carol’s ministry evolved from a public ministry to a very private ministry, in a corner chair of her living room, where she fought and won wars over friends and family and nation in prayer. Most of her time, when not spent with friends or her children, was spent seeking the Lord, praying, and engaging in intensive study of the Word of God. She was titled a “supplier of the troops” when she began delivering packets filled with articles, notes, and word from Heaven to fellow friends and cohorts in ministry and the many prayer teams she either founded or was actively involved with. Carol’s primary “love language” was gift-giving, and God showed His love for her with her most precious gift, Ashley Pearl Fleeman, her beloved granddaughter and daughter of Jon and Anna Fleeman. Carol’s final years were filled with joyful days and hours of time spent with Ashley Pearl, who dubbed her “Gramma Carol”. As Ashley has grown, she now beautifully exhibits “Gramma Carol’s” same colorful vigor, love of life and giving spirit. Carol no doubt has been given a new assignment on the other side alongside the saints and is enjoying her reunion with her brother Charles, her mother and father, and in addition one of her closest friends, Carol McGregor. No doubt her most joyous moment has been seeing the love of her life, Jesus, face to face.
