Carol Jean Goodwin, age 77, of Belton, MO, passed away February 12, 2017. She was born October 5, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Austin Hawley Null and Lavina (Heiland) Null.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Lloyd Goodwin, sons: Richard Allen and Jeffery Lee Goodwin, a step-brother Jimmy Cassady. Carol is survived by her children: June Marie Gagnon and husband Brian of Tuscola, TX, Rita Goodwin of Springfield, MO, Timothy Goodwin and wife Kathleen of Springfield, MO, and Robert Goodwin and wife Lennette of Belton, MO, brothers: Leonard Austin Null and Martin Edward Null, step-brothers: Louie Cassady, Joe Cassady, step-sisters: Brenda Kissane and Diane McEneny, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Carol Jean Funeral Fund C/O Timothy Goodwin at 3506 N National Ave Springfield, MO 65803.
