Caroline Ann (McCasland) Fellin 71 of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Born in San Diego, California on July 14, 1942 to Olen Utah McCasland and Melba Earline (Hamblin) McCasland, she was the first of three children. Retired from State Farm Insurance Company as an executive secretary after 30 years service, she enjoyed time spent during retirement working with her second family at Merrily We Quilt Along in Springfield, Missouri.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 46 years John Edward Fellin; three children, son Leslie Dale Fellin and his partner Christopher Johnson, of Kansas City, MO, daughter Christy Johnelle (Fellin) Firestone and her husband Jason, of Lincoln, NE, son John Paul Fellin and his wife Kelly, of Temecula, CA; four grandchildren, Jakob Edward Firestone, Gracie Jewel Firestone, Jaxon Paul Fellin and Mason Jeffrey Fellin; her brother Olen Utah McCasland Jr. and his wife Caroline, of Killeen, TX; her sister – Cynthia Diane (McCasland) Nelson, of Forth Worth, TX as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Preceded in death by her father Olen Utah McCasland and mother Melba Earline (Hamblin) McCasland.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home located at 3540 E. Seminole in Springfield, MO. 65809 with service immediately following at 10:00 am.
