Carolyn Jo Morris-Patterson born June 16, 1939 went to be with her heavenly family on May 11, 2023. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Jane and several siblings: Junior, Leah Jean, Cherry Mary, Bob, J.R. Carroll and Eddie.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Kay, and a special nephew Charlie and his wife, Debbie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and her precious little fur baby, Sweety Pie.
Jo was a hard worker and caregiver to her parents before their passing. Some years after that she was married to Don Patterson for 10 years until his passing. Afterwards, she lived alone and cared for herself except for the occasional care from Kay, Charlie, and Debbie until a fall made her weak and left her hospitalized. She agreed to go home with Charlie and Debbie under hospice for her final care. She passed away peacefully with her loving family at her bedside.
Graveside services for Jo will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Missouri.
