Catherine Elizabeth (Katie) Haverstick, age 37, of Springfield, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in her home . She was born October 4, 1978, in Columbia, MO, to Joseph and Sharon (Manar) Haverstick. Katie graduated from Kickapoo High School and attended Ozark Technical College. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards,making crafts, playing Farmville, watching t.v. and movies. Katie’s greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by Paternal grandparents, Albert Earl and Imogene Haverstick and maternal grandfather, David Manar. She is survived by her Mother, Sharon Hughes and husband Robert, Springfield, MO; father, Joseph Haverstick and wife Celia, Fulton, MO; three brothers, Christopher (Adam) Haverstick, Willard MO, Joseph Haverstick and wife Nikki, Willard and Andrew Haverstick and wife Cassie, Taiwan; two sisters, Sarah Ordway and husband David, Columbia, MO and Emily Haverstick, Steelville, MO; maternal grandmother, Frieda Manar; and a host of family and friends .
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO with Pastor Junior Simmerman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
