Charlene Marie Phillips 66, Springfield, MO. passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, while doing something she dearly loved to do, Scrapbooking. She was born in Santa Rosa, California, on December 12, 1952, to Arthur and Wanda (Harris) Morrison. She was a retired secretary from French's Foods. She was a member of the Nixa Organic Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Beta Sigma PHI Sorority and several Scrapbooking clubs.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one grandson. She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Phillips, a daughter: Melodie Goodau and her husband, Terrence, a son, Benjamin Charles Phillips, four grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and one step-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother and her sister.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nixa Organic Nazarenes Missions International. (Checks to: NOC mail to: 574 South Canterbury Lane, Nixa, MO. 65714)

I too met Charlene through Middle Tennessee Womens Retreat held in Nashville, TN each year. She always had such a sweet smile and was an enjoyment to be around. I definitely will miss her. What a precious Lady Charlene was! I had come to know her through MTWR Retreat in Nashville several years ago! She was a sweet lady---loved by all who met her---I will sure miss seeing her at Retreat this next spring! Prayers for the family---I know she will be missed! to the family of charlene my thoughts and prayers are with you all, i met charlene back in 2010 at middle tennessee women's retreat ( ann downing ministries), she will be miss, very sweet lady....

I meet Charlene through scrapbooking. She was such a very sweet lady and made beautiful projects. What I will remember most is she always had a smile no matter what... I loved her smile!. She will be dearly missed at the Crazy Cropper Scrapbook Retreats. My condolences to Charlie and the family.

I started working with Charlene just before Ben was born! We worked together in distribution in the mid-70's and off and on in the same building until I left in 2005. We continued to see each other at the annual Christmas ornament exchange, usually at her house, for several more years. I always marveled at her decorating skills and her many talents. She was always fun to be with and I am so sorry she's gone. The Christmas season just won't be the same without her. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Charlie, and all her family. Charlie, I loved getting to know your Charlene. You always told me "You and my wife would get along good with that scrapbooking thing" and you were right! She was such a blessing to so many, including myself. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will certainly miss Charlene, she was a wonderful friend. Fun to be around. So talented in scrapbooking and loved to craft. She hosted such wonderful Christmas parties.

Charlie, You were married to a wonderful lady and daughter of Christ. Rick and I have not known her as long as many, but we sure loved her and you. Charlene had such a giving heart and a joy for living. We pray God's comfort for you and your family during this time.
