Mr. Charles Andrew Chilton, age 70, of Pleasant Hope passed away Wednesday June 24, 2009. He was born September 4, 1938 to George and Geneva Fay (Altic) Chilton in Brighton, Missouri. He was a railroad electrician and a United States Air Force Viet Nam Veteran.
His father and an infant brother Bobbie Chilton precede him in death.
He is survived by his mother Geneva Chilton of Pleasant Hope; two brothers Darrell Lee Chilton and his wife Nancyanne of Virginia state; Jerry Chilton and his wife Leona of Pleasant Hope, MO; and one sister Sheila Marie Simmons of Springfield, MO
Funeral services for Mr. Charles Chilton are at 11:00 am Saturday June 27, 2009 in Pitts Chapel of Greenlawn Funeral Homes in Bolivar, MO. Burial will follow in Slagle Cemetery south of Bolivar.
