Funeral services for Charles R. Cooper age 88 of Golden, Missouri will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Golden Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Dudley, Pastor Woody Fletcher and Pastor Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Western Grove Cemetery in Western Grove, Arkansas under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, Mo.
He died March 24, 2013 at his home in Golden, Mo.
He was born on December 3, 1924 in Everton, Arkansas the son of Daris and Wilma Miller Cooper. He had been a resident of the Golden area for the past twenty years. He was a retired foreman from a steel and sheet metal manufacturing company. He was a member of the Golden Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was united in marriage to Betty M. Snow on April 21, 1943 in Harrison, Arkansas and to this union was born two sons.
Survivors are his wife Betty M. Snow Cooper of the home. Two sons, Charles Dennis Cooper of Shingle Springs, California and Gary Wayne Cooper of Golden. One brother, Glen Cooper of Ruby, Arkansas and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Alma Williams and one brother, Verlon Cooper.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at 2 PM in Thursday at the church.
