Charles “Bill” Walker, age 83, of Rogersville, Missouri, passed away on March 10, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1941, in Gouverneur, New York, to Charles and Delma Walker. After his graduation from high school, he served his country with the U.S. Navy. Upon his completion of service, he started a long career as a sales rep for Gerber Baby Foods. On May 21,1982, he married Berniece Lorine Volner at New Life Center Church in Springfield, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Delma Walker; and daughter, Carolyn McKinnis. He is survived by his children, Mike Ellis, Larry Weeks (wife Jana), Shawnda Walker, Lisa Clegg (husband Aaron), Cherie Hardin, and Debbie Walker; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
There will be a full military honor’s service for Mr. Walker on March 19, 2024, 1:00 PM, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
