Cheryl Lynn Brown, age 65, born on February 25, 1961, to Jerald and Joann Brown of Bois D’Arc, Missouri, left from this Earth February 27, 2026.
Cheryl grew up helping on the family farm, where she learned the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, qualities that defined her life. She graduated from Ash Grove high school in 1979 and went on to earn her associate’s degree. Cheryl dedicated 38 years of her life to working as a truck driver, a career she took great pride in. She especially enjoyed truck pulls and the community of friends she made along the way.
Outside of work, Cheryl found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening, growing vegetables, and canning the fruits of her labor to share with family and friends. Music was always close to her heart; she enjoyed both country and classic rock. She was an avid NASCAR fan and fulfilled a dream of attending the Daytona 500, an experience she cherished.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Jerald Brown; her aunt, Joyce Gifford; her grandparents, the Jett and Brown families; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Joann Brown; her daughters, Jennifer Main and Shyla Polk; her granddaughter, Baylee; her brother, J. Lee Brown; her nephews, JJ, LJ, and Jayze Brown; and many extended family members and dear friends.
