Christina Marie Yochum, 45, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in her home in Nixa, MO. She was born March 23, 1968 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa, IA. Christina’s parents were Thomas M. Yochum of Shell Knob, Mo. and Cheryl (Vittetoe) Barnett of Kansas City, MO. Chris attended Pickwick Grade School and Ottumwa High School and graduated in 1986. Chris worked in the financial business, including employment with Ford Motor, Advance America Cash, and Citi Bank in the cities of Madison, WI, Kansas City, MO, Jacksonville, FL., Ottumwa, IA, and Nixa, MO. Chris loved to laugh, and if you were her friend you had a friend for life.
Chris was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Ernest (Dutch) Yochum of Ottumwa, IA, and Richard M. Vittetoe of Osceola, IA. Chris is survived by her son Logan Thomas Yochum of Nixa, MO, and her parents.
Christina’s services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
