Christopher Allan Pitts was born March 8th, 1990. His life of 21 years 8 months and 19 days was cut short Saturday November 26th, 2011 the day of his death.
Christopher was born in Citizen’s Memorial Hospital, the son of Allan Pitts and Pam Bozarth. He graduated from Bolivar High School in May of 2008. He will be greatly missed by many. Christopher was a very loving, caring, giving person. He loved to draw and had a talent for his art. He also liked working with his Dad in the shop, painting cars and doing mechanic work.
Christopher was a great help to the family when his Grandfather, Eddie Pitts, died in 2010. Christopher grew close to his Grandpa and was there holding his hand the day he died. Chris’s memory will forever be a large part of our hearts and minds, and he will never be forgotten.
As we take a glance back on Chris and who he was, we see someone that loved to be a clown, and make people laugh. He also loved to be around family and would just sit and talk for hours about all the things that were going on around him. Christopher grew up in the Bolivar Assembly of God Church, where he was a Royal Ranger. He was also a Yellow belt in Tae Kwando. Chris loved the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. Chris would just take off walking and walk for hours just to clear his head, he said he could do it better outside with the wind blowing around him.
Christopher was a son, uncle, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and fiance’, but the greatest accomplishment in Chris’s life was that he was a father. Chris now leaves behind the greatest gift of all, his sons, Kaiden, Parker, Dakota and Alex. He also leaves behind a nephew, Mason, who called him Daddy Chris.
Chris’s life was cut short by things that he was not proud of doing. As we look back at the things Chris has said and what he might want said at this time, we are sure that id Chris could go back and change what he had done, that he would have, but we are sure that Chris would want to say to those who he had known, that it is never too late to go to God for help. Chris had been reading the Bible and had once again gained his strength in God and we are sure that he would want others to follow the same path, and make it right with God. Don’t let the things of this world take over your lives, let God help you the way Chris was trying to do. Let Chris’s memory be the one thing that causes you to let go of anything that is holding you back from God, and make it right.
His preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eddie Pitts and James Bozarth, also his best friend cousin and angel, Chilua Redd. Christopher and Chilua were best friends and when she died in 1998, Chris’s heart broke. Today his heart is no longer broken and Chris is united with Chilua and all his other family that were awaiting him. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Allan and Jennifer Pitts, his mother, Pam Bozarth, sisters, Kaleigh and Kimberly Pitts, nephew Mason Bibeau, grandmothers, Alice Pitts and Wanda Bozarth, and grandparents Gorden and Barbara O’Quinn, fiance’ Amanda Lamb and sons, Kaiden, Parker, Dakota and Alex. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.
May the memory of Chris’s life be forever a reminder in our hearts that God is there to help each one of us through our daily lives. May the friends of Chris that read or hear this not remember Chris for worldly things, but may you remember him for who he truly was. Chris truly was a Child of God and he would want you to get right with God. God can take the things in your life and wipe them away. He can replace them with joy, happiness and peace. Let God be there for you now and forever. Remember Christopher by giving your heart and lives to God, and walking away from anything that will keep you from seeing Chris again someday in Heaven.
