Clara Nadine Glenn 81, Springfield, MO. went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, November 16, 2021, after a long illness. She was born on October 30, 1940, in Buffalo, MO. to Granville and Naomi (Hardy) Lawson. Clara was a retired telephone operator for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Clara loved her Lord and loved her time in service to him at South Haven Baptist Church, where her and her family attended for many years. She was a member of the Card Club at the church and enjoyed cooking and baking for others and her church family. Clara and her husband enjoyed traveling in their R.V. and traveled many miles together. She also enjoyed collecting donations for Harmony House.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, James, her daughter and her husband: Leslie and Steve Orman and her grandson: Macguire Orman.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Springfield-Greene County Humane Society or to Watching Over Whiskers Feline Charity.
