Clara Bess Norman, 84, passed to glory Saturday September 1st, 2018 at the Arbors at Ravenwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Don; she leaves behind her children Cindy, Tim, Todd, Tracy and Aimee along with their spouses Sherry, Cherie, and Luke as well as her grandchildren Alex, Tyler, Rachel, Traeton, and Cooper.
Clara was born in Rogersville, MO to Clifford and Mimi Wolfe. She attended Springfield High School and graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1954. She spent most of her time volunteering at Pleasant View as a library aid and a PTA mother. She loved her Lord and Savior; she shared a similar passion to play the organ in her Sunday school class at Seminole Baptist Church.
She had a passion for gardening and watching birds, but her greatest joy was being in the company of her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family around the kitchen table during the holidays.
Visitation is from 5-7 pm Sunday, September 9th, at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 10th, at the same location. Following the funeral service, there will be a gravesite service at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
