Clarence Black,
82 of Louisburg, MO, left this life to meet his Lord, Savior and Creator
January 24, 2013, in his home. He was
born to Cecil and Caroline (Shoman) Black September 6, 1930, at Rimby, MO. Clarence was saved at a young age and is a
member of Lindley Creek Missionary Baptist church.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Opal Black; one sister Doris
Crawford; and one brother Kenneth Black.
He
is survived by three children: Gene Black and wife Jeanette of Goodson, MO,
LaVeta Black of Pittsburg, MO, and Wilda Black of Louisburg, MO; one sister
Dorothy Black of Centrailia, WA; one brother Buford Black and wife Helmi of
Louisburg, MO; four grandchildren: Jennifer Dickerson, Amanda Hawes, Sofie
Black, and Billy Uden; two great grandchildren: Anthony and Devin Dickerson; a
sister in-law Irene Black of CA; as well as several other relatives and
friends.
Funeral
services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Pitts Chapel with
Brother Jamie Erven officiating. Burial will
follow at Lindley Creek Cemetery. Visitation
will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the funeral
home.
