Clarence Raymond McComas, of Plato, Mo., was born in Brownsville, Neb., on Feb. 17, 1928, to Leonard and Pearl McComas. He passed away Sept. 24, at St. Johns Hospital.
Clarence married Helen Smallfoot on June 6, 1949 in Falls City, Neb. They moved to Plato, Mo. in 1953. He had many occupations and retired from the AAFES in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents, one brother and one infant daughter. He is survived by two daughters; Kathy Jo of the home, and Patricia Von Holten and her husband Larry of Springfield, three grandchildren: Kim Riddle and husband Brandon of Strafford, Kerri McCormack of Springfield, and Luke McComas and Cheryl Robertson of New Boston, Texas, one great-grand daughter Rylee McCormack. Clarence is survived by three siblings.
Graveside services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday Oct. 2 at Pisgah Cemetery, Plato, Mo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pisgah Cemetery.
