Cliff A. Barber age 53, of Springfield MO. Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 2, 2013 at Mercy Hospital Springfield MO.
He was born on February 5, 1959 to Rex and Marie Barber in Florissant MO. He accepted the Lord as his savior as a young boy and attends Second Baptist Church.
Cliff attended Kickapoo High School and Graduated in 1977 and later attended Southwest Missouri State University (MSU). Cliff joined the Army after Graduation from High School and was a Still Photographer and later in the Military Police. He worked as an Over the road truck driver for the Celadon Trucking Co.
Cliff loved all history and truly enjoyed the Civil War the most along with participating in reenacting. His other interest included gardening and nature along with trap and skeet shooting with his son.
He is preceded in death by his father Rex Barber, Two brothers Brent Barber and Larry Guthrie. He is survived by his wife Brenda of 29 yrs. and their son Brandon. His mother Marie Barber and two sisters Carol Cameron and husband Paul and Nancy Daniels and husband David. 11 Nephews and 1 Great Nephew. Cliff was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday February 6, 2013 from 6-8 and Services will be Thursday February 7, 2013 at 2 pm at Greenlawn East Funeral Homes 3540 E. Seminole Springfield, MO. Burial to follow at Maple Park Cemetery 300 West Grand Springfield, MO.
