Kathy and Family, I just learned of Cliff's passing and was so surprised. When I was President/CEO of New Covenant Academy, I can vividly recall how Cliff had dirt moved (at no charge) to establish our new soccer field, that serves many children and youth to this day. I always enjoyed visiting with Cliff. He was so kind and humble. I am sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was acquainted with Cliff through KAMO. He was a favorite contractor of mine. He was so kind. My husband sustained a severe brain injury in February of 2006. He was in the neuro trauma unit in St. John's for quite an extended period of time. The transmission went out of my vehicle while I was there. Cliff came to the hospital, took my vehicle and put a new transmission in my vehicle and would not let me pay him for it. That is the kind of person he was. I loved him and his compassion and kindness. There are so many other things I could say. I lost my husband last year so I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. Many blessings to through as I know God will carry you through this time of grief.

I think fondly of Cliff and the time when he and Kennedy Contractors won the contract to acquire, haul and place several thousand truckloads of fill to bring a flood plain up to grade to convert the site to a suitable manufacturing location - and how clever Cliff was in the way the job was performed. It was so impressively amazing to me that the experience still brings a smile of joy when thinking of it, especially when contrasted with Cliff’s familiar ‘low-key’ manner. It's Ironic but I shared this story with a young associate no less than 3 weeks ago to illustrate not limiting your ‘free-range’ resourcefulness when approaching any challenge. It has been a blessing since to occasionally cross paths with Cliff and get to visit and I look forward to doing so again when time is not a factor - since we rely on the same Friend who made that possible. Due to another commitment I regret not getting to attend Cliff’s Celebration Saturday; however, my heart-felt prayers are with you. John 11:25

I’ll always remember coming to my Uncle Clifford and Aunt Kathy’s house in the summer as I was growing up to spend time with my sweet cousin Dana (Your super sweet too Diane. Lol). That is when I heard the “ice cream truck” jingles for the first time in my life. I remember the kids running outside for what I had no idea was about to happen…. ICE CREAM!!! Without even asking, my Uncle Clifford came out as fast as all the neighborhood kids with dollars in his hand. He made sure I had any choice of ice cream I desired and then said, “Is that all you want?” I remember thinking how amazing it was that my very own Uncle had an ice cream truck that would just appear out of nowhere when kids needed ice cream the most. The best thing I remembered about my uncle is that he gave the best hugs! One of those hugs where you felt his sincere love. I love you Uncle Clifford and I’m so blessed I got to tell you that in person shortly before you passed on to our Heavenly Father! ❤️

Cliff was a great mentor and friend to the construction industry. A great role model who gave his time, money and expertise for Spfd Contractors Pig Roast for many years that I’ll not soon forget. And what a great Cardinal fan, Rest In Peace my friend!

Cliff made an indelible impact on myself and our company (Springfield Underground). He was a trusted vendor, client and friend. His Presidency of the Contractors Association taught several of us how to push forward an organization with many different opinions and objects. Thank you for a beautifully written remembrance of Cliff. My condolences on your loss.

My sincere condolences to you all. I remember Cliff very well, growing up with Diane. He was so kind to me as a kid and in later years always asked about my Dad. What a beautiful tribute and legacy he left behind. Much love and prayers! Michelle Clark-Noe
