Constance Ruth Moore, age 83, of Rogersville, Missouri, passed from this life and into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on October 31, 2022, at the James River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield. Connie was born to Bruce Edgar Gray and Vivian Laurel (Burdette) Gray on May 30, 1939, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was raised in Springfield and graduated from Central High School in 1957. At the age of 18, Connie married the love of her life, Robert Andrews, on June 30, 1957, in Springfield. Connie and Robert shared 30 wonderful years of marriage before his untimely passing. They were blessed with three children: Jeff, Kim, and Robert. In 1991, Connie was united in marriage to Buford Moore in Miami, Oklahoma. They remained happily married until Buford’s passing in 2013. For many years, Connie was employed as an assembly line worker at the Zenith Electronics television manufacturing plant in Springfield.
Connie was a devout Christian who lived her life serving the Lord and helping others. She volunteered as a nursery attendant for many years at James River Church in Ozark. In that role, she touched the lives of countless children, parents, and fellow church members. In her later years, Connie attended Landmark Church in Strafford. Connie loved to travel, and she especially enjoyed her visits to Hawaii and New York City. Closer to home, Connie liked to visit the Branson area where she always had a good time attending a variety of shows with family and friends. She enjoyed the finer things in life such as vanilla biscotti served with a cup of hot cappuccino, Lipton green tea, and her most favorite treat of all—vanilla ice cream from McDonalds. Connie was a huge fan of KY3, and she was especially fond of the First Alert weather team. Connie was most fulfilled when she was in the presence of her children and grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Vivian Gray; her first husband Robert Andrews, her second husband Buford Moore; son Robert Andrews; grandson, Jesse Andrews; and sister, Debbie Essick.
