Cora Propps was born on January 21, 1914, in Newtown, MO to George O. and Cora Mae Bailey. She was married to Donald Dean Propps. She died on March 10, 2013 at 99 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Elvin L. Propps, six brothers, a sister, Mary J. Pierce, a sister Maggie Earls who also died March 10, 2013, and two grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Ova Lee Propps, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 10great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends. She lived in Springfield, MO for a large part of her life and worked in downtown Springfield at the Hamburger Inn on Jefferson for many years. She was a wonderful person to all and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Saturday March 16, 2013, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm in Busby Cemetery, in Newtown, MO.
